FAFSAs, Grants, Students Loans & More
Many families find the financial aid process to be the most complicated and trying part of the college application process. A college education doesn’t come cheap these days and most families need some sort of aid to help meet college costs. Financial aid comes in 4 forms: grants; scholarships; student loans; and work study. Your eligibility for aid is determined by many factors.
The most important part of the financial aid process is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can receive free help completing this form through the College Planning Center of Rhode Island. Your college may also require you to submit additional forms to apply for financial aid.
