National SMART Grant

Description: A supplemental grant for Pell Grant recipients in 3rd or 4th year pursuing majors in science, math, engineering, computer science, technology or a “critical” foreign language.
Eligibility: U.S. Citizen/Permanent residents; full/part-time undergrad; need-based; awarded to Pell Grant recipients. Student must have obtained a GPA of 3.0 or higher during course of study in major.
Amount: Up to $4,000 for 3rd and 4th years of undergraduate education.
How to apply: Complete the FAFSA by your school's specified deadline.
